BIZWorld Ireland Workshop 20th and 21st May 2013
BizWorld Ireland has as it’s mission to challenge and engage children (10 – 14 years of age) through learning programmes that teach the basics of business, entrepreneurship and money management.
Educators and business people are coming together to sow seeds in a unique and inspiring way to empower these young children to actually grow their own future…
As part of the Open Innovation 2.0 Conference, two BIZWorld workshops will run alongside the event and showcase on May 20th and 21st in The Oak Room of The Mansion House.
The workshops are hands-on and promote critical thinking, leadership and teamwork in the classroom. The students take on roles based on their strengths and skills. BizWorld’s programmes allow students across the cultural and economic spectrum to not only understand how business works but also enables them to experience it first-hand.
BIZWorld believes in:
- The power of education to positively influence children.
- Financial, business and entrepreneurship education as tools for economic prosperity.
- The involvement of the private sector to bridge the gap between business and education in local communities.
- The ingenuity, creativity and ability of all children to create opportunities for their own success.
